QuickCuts ("we," "us," or "our") operates the QuickCuts customer app, barber app, and website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: Name, email address, phone number when you register.
- Location data: Real-time GPS location when the app is in use to match you with nearby barbers or navigate barbers to customers. We do not store continuous location history.
- Payment information: Payment is processed by Stripe. We never store raw card numbers — only tokenized references provided by Stripe.
- Booking data: Service requested, date, time, location type, and booking status.
- Device information: Device type, OS version, and push notification token for sending alerts.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To match customers with nearby available barbers.
- To process payments and issue receipts.
- To send booking confirmations, status updates, and push notifications.
- To verify barber professional licenses.
- To improve the app experience and resolve support requests.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share limited information only as needed:
- Between customers and barbers: Your first name and booking details are shared with your matched barber. Barbers see your pickup location, not your home address by default.
- Stripe: Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Firebase / Google: App infrastructure, authentication, and database. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of users.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data as long as your account is active. Booking history is retained for 2 years for receipt and dispute purposes. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@quickcuts.app.
6. Children's Privacy
QuickCuts is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), Firebase Authentication, and Stripe for payment security. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
