By downloading or using the QuickCuts app or website, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. About QuickCuts
QuickCuts is a platform that connects customers seeking barbering services with independent, self-employed barbers. QuickCuts is not a barbering company — barbers using the platform are independent contractors, not employees of QuickCuts.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use QuickCuts. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Customer Terms
- You agree to provide accurate location information for service delivery.
- You agree to be present at the agreed location at the scheduled time.
- Payment is charged to your saved card automatically after service completion.
- A $2 booking fee applies on the Free tier per booking. Premium subscribers ($9.99/mo) have no booking fees.
- Tips are optional and go 100% to the barber.
- Cancellations made after a barber has been dispatched may incur a cancellation fee.
4. Barber Terms
- Barbers must hold a valid professional barber license in their jurisdiction and keep it current.
- Barbers pay a flat $20/month subscription fee for platform access. QuickCuts takes no commission on earnings.
- Barbers are independent contractors. QuickCuts does not provide employment benefits, insurance, or tax withholding.
- Barbers are responsible for their own tools, equipment, transportation, and liability insurance.
- Barbers must accurately represent their skills, services, and availability.
- QuickCuts reserves the right to suspend or remove barbers who receive consistently poor ratings or violate these terms.
5. Payments & Subscriptions
All payments are processed by Stripe. Customer subscriptions ($9.99/mo) and barber subscriptions ($20/mo) are billed monthly and cancel anytime. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods. Subscription prices may change with 30 days' notice.
6. Conduct
Users agree not to:
- Use the platform for any illegal purpose.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
- Provide false information or impersonate others.
- Attempt to circumvent the platform by transacting directly after an initial match.
- Use automated tools or bots to access the platform.
7. Ratings & Reviews
Ratings and reviews must be honest and based on actual experiences. Fake or malicious reviews are prohibited and may result in account suspension.
8. Limitation of Liability
QuickCuts is a marketplace platform. We are not responsible for the quality of barbering services delivered, injuries, property damage, or disputes between customers and barbers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickCuts's liability is limited to the amount paid through the platform in the 30 days preceding any claim.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, poses a safety risk, or engages in fraudulent activity.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court proceedings, except where prohibited by law.
